Going through my pantry, I realized that I need to restock some items and my grocery list was growing. I try to stay away from preservatives, artificial colors and flavors, and everyone’s favorite, GMO’s. It’s not always easy to do, but you really should try.
My grocery list is not necessarily items I need to purchase, but rather items I want to make at home. They’ll be canned, they’ll be stored, or they’ll be one-time-use products. You may notice that some of the grocery items have ingredients under them. These are the ACTUAL INGREDIENTS taken directly from the product’s label. My goal is to eliminate as much of the preservatives as possible. As I work through the list, I’ll update the items with a link to the research and development post and then onto the final recipe.
Make sure you keep an eye out because this list is going to be updated regularly. What’s in your pantry?
