I must say, I’m pretty excited about my move to Indianapolis. By the time you pick up this issue of The Word, we’ll have already made our way from New York and settled into our temporary digs.
While there are so many interesting things about Indy, I am most excited about the opportunity I am going to have with the food scene. I’ve been reading about how new restaurants are popping up all over town and I can’t wait to dive in. I love to eat, and I love to cook. I mean, how can you be a food writer/critic/lover without those things, right?
I was perusing through various websites the other day and came across a TON of upcoming food events that I am going to have to attend. I read the article on Facebook about Michael Symon’s B Spot coming to Indy. There is NOTHING like a great burger; and as we all know, Michael Symon has won several burger competitions so it’s gotta be good right? (If not, tell me where the nearest Steak n Shake is…)
