Here’s an article I wrote for The Eagle newspaper published in their July 1st issue. If you’re ever in the Indianapolis area, you need to make your way over to Thaitanium. It’s a great little Thai restaurant that opened in March 2017.
I pretty much ordered 3 appetizers, an entrée, and of course, I needed a couple of cocktails (so I had TWO)! The portions were pretty filling so I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to finish my entrée. I hunkered down and sure enough, I finished everything.
I had a great time and I can’t wait to return to try their other dishes and cocktails. Although, I’m not so sure I can turn away the Green Curry dish. It has always been a favorite of mine and I can’t seem to get enough. Everyone was super friendly and offered their insight to the newness of the restaurant. I think this place would be great for a group of friends to hang out at and order apps and cocktails; maybe even sharing different entrées.
I think the only thing that is missing is that they don’t have those huge sliding doors/windows you can open up during the spring and summer months. Now THAT would be awesome. Come to think of it, I think during the fireplace would be great during the winter months too. Who doesn’t love a good fireplace in the dead of winter?
